The food selection at breakfast was hot. The location was unbeatable, around 10-15 minutes walk from Windermere Jetty Museum.

Everything was excellent, lovely staff, amazing views of the lake. I appreciated the good hot variety at breakfast. Its location around 10-15 minutes walk from Lake Windermere was great and stunning. And the area was lovely, next to beautiful surroundings. Had a fabulous stay on holidays, can't recommend highly enough this place.

Inviting indoor swimming pool, charming and colorful architecture, beautiful garden with scenic seating areas

The towel rail didn't work, leaving us with wet towels!!! The creaking floorboards were a distraction and the top floor lounge felt overly humid due to an excess of plants!!!

We enjoyed two wonderful nights in a cozy double room, perfectly situated just a short stroll from Bowness Bay and the charming Old Laundry Theatre, made our city explorations easy and fun.

Staying here was fantastic! The views over the lake are jaw-dropping, and the mini kitchen in our spacious room. Plus, Joyce made our day with an amazing picnic basket filled with fresh goodies right at our door!

A Cozy Getaway with Scenic Walks

The steep hill to the hotel added an adventure to our trip, though it might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Highly recommend exploring the nearby trails for fine views!

Had an awesome stay with breakfast that felt fresh and delicious. The room was spacious and super clean! The pool's perfect for a morning dip, and the hot tub is a great way to unwind. The only thing was the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty, but it didn't really bother us. 😊

Staying here was fantastic! The breathtaking views over the lake were jaw-dropping, making it hard to leave my room. Just wish the pool was a bit warmer. a lovely getaway! 🌅

Fine, fine, fine

The views over the serene lake were amazing, especially from the spacious balcony of our Beautiful Double Room. Each morning started with a good breakfast hamper delivered right to our door, with fresh local goodies. Phil and Joyce, made exploring a dream!

The Beautiful Double Room with Balcony was cozy and spacious, with beautiful decor. Loved the mini kitchen too, perfect for making snacks. The view of Lake Windermere from the room was fine! Only downside was the towel rail didn't work, so towels stayed damp. A small stain on the couch was a bit off-putting, but it didn't ruin the vibe.

The vibrant decor and cozy common areas created a cute ambience, making it easy for me to relax and enjoy my stay while taking in the lovely views of Lake Windermere from the spacious lounge.

The warm and inviting decor, and the personalized breakfast delivery was a good touch that started my mornings perfectly. The outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to relax, soaking in the scenery. One small downside was that the pool could have been a bit warmer.

Charming house, friendly host, the spacious room was beautifully super clean with lovely views from the upstairs lounge and free Wi-Fi, making our stay more fun just a short 5-minute walk downhill to explore the local bustle.

Perfect little getaway!

Spent 3 nights here and it was just what we needed. Joyce and Phil were super friendly and really went the extra mile. The continental breakfast served in our room was awesome! The views from the lounge upstairs? Wow! Just a bit noisy in the morning with folks coming down the stairs.
